This Privacy Policy describes how AppSonic ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the BatteryGuard: Battery Care mobile application ("App") on iOS.
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information to provide the App's features:
- Purchase information — Apple processes subscription payments. We receive subscription status through Apple's StoreKit so we can unlock BatteryGuard Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device and battery information — The App reads publicly available iOS battery data such as battery percentage, charging state, Low Power Mode, and device thermal state when available. Apple does not expose exact battery temperature, cycle count, or Apple Battery Health to third-party apps.
- App activity stored on your device — Charging session history, Battery Care Score history, reminder settings, widget preferences, daily tip history, and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers through the App.
2. How We Use Information
- Display live battery status, charging analytics, and care guidance
- Send local notifications for battery reminders you configure
- Update Home Screen widgets and Live Activities with battery information
- Verify and restore BatteryGuard Pro subscriptions
- Improve app reliability and support user requests
3. Data Storage and Retention
Charging history, scores, reminders, and preferences remain on your device unless you delete them in the App's Settings or uninstall the App. We do not automatically upload this local history to our servers.
4. Permissions
- Notifications — used for charging reminders, low-battery alerts, daily tips, and temperature guidance
- Battery monitoring — used to read battery percentage and charging state through iOS APIs
The App does not request access to Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, Photos, or Bluetooth.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be shared only in these limited cases:
- Apple — for App Store purchases, subscription management, and StoreKit receipt validation
- You — when you export a PDF report and share it using the iOS share sheet
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
6. Subscriptions and Payments
BatteryGuard Pro is offered as auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

7. Data Deletion
You can delete locally stored charging history from Settings inside the App. Uninstalling the App removes local app data from your device. Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete local history already stored on your iPhone.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Security
Because most App data stays on your device, you control access through your iPhone's passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and device security settings. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect information handled by the App.
10. International Users
The App is provided through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's platform rules in your country or region.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be reflected in the App.
